Working in pastels and oils, I am inspired by the beauty of the sea and coast. My drawings and paintings demonstrate a loose and fluid movement that has been described as imbuing the subjects with life.

Many of my works combine modern imagery with figures from a more fashionable era, beautifully set against a background of shimmering light. With others I incorporate sepia tones and soft focus to allow the observer to formulate their own interpretation of the story behind the picture.

I have undertaken commissions in the UK, France and USA, and have held Open Studios at which my work sold out.

My work has been used for cards, both in the UK and internationally, and has been licensed for other uses.

My portfolio shows not only current works but also previous ones now sold but may serve to act as inspiration for commissioning me to produce similar.  Most items can be purchased as original art (if available),  prints or greetings cards.
